I can never resist abstract art that really has a lot to tell. Even without reading the name of this piece, I'm reminded of days spent (pre-Katrina) in and around New Orleans, inspecting everything from the music to the bayous. And of course childhood trips to Lake Charles, where both my folks were from...crab fishing (very easy to do) off a wharf, my dad telling me tales of "alligator hunting" deep in the swamps and bayous, and more. All this came from your talented brush strokes of an idea. Thank you.
Thanks for the comment. I painted that a long time ago, and decided to post it here. I love New Orleans and the food down there. I hope that LA is getting their feet back on the ground after the Katrina mess. I am still in awe over that disaster.
