The song playing on this is by my son ~Thamyris71 It is a remake of Pink Floyd's "Goodbye Blue Sky"
"Look mummy, there's an aeroplane up in the sky"
Oooooooo ooo ooo ooo ooooh(x 3) Did-did-did-did-you see the frightened ones? Did-did-did-did-you hear the falling bombs? Did-did-did-did-you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter When the promise of a brave new world Unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?
Oooooooo ooo ooo ooo ooooh (x 2) Did-did-did-did-you see the frightened ones? Did-did-did-did-you hear the falling bombs? The flames are all long gone, but the pain lingers on.
Goodbye, blue sky Goodbye, blue sky. Goodbye.(x 2)
"The 11:15 from Newcastle is now approaching" "The 11:18 arrival..
Those of you that know my deep emotions over this terrible situation BP has caused, might understand where I am coming from. My heart is broken. Thanks for looking -
This is a perfect entry for Manip-your-music. The best entry I have seen, the music playing while viewing make this exceptional. Added to my manip your music collection.
I live on the Texas part of the gulf. While our beaches are not badly affected, our economy has been. Between having half the gulf contaminated and people scared of eating out of the other half, a lot of fishermen (esp. shrimpers) are feeling the pressure. I hate it, I don't understand why so little has been done and why so little is being done now.
I know exactly what you mean. It is horrible. I lived in FL right where all of that was going on and I knew a lot of people that used those waters to make a living and support their families. Those beaches are so beautiful through the panhandle of FL and it is a shame that BP's oil disaster has changed so many miles of that beach. When I saw the pelicans covered in oil and suffering to live, it made me cry.
The part that made me break down (Literally. It made me cry) was when I found out that Lousiana pet shelters were getting overwhelmed by animals because the fishermen couldn't afford pets anymore.
I have a cat. If I am given a choice between kitty food and me food, the kitty food goes in the budget and basket first. I do not know how desperate that is that you have to give your baby to a shelter. I hope I never find out, and if my kitty didn't turn into a blender around other animals (jealous baby) I would probably have looked into interstate animal adoptions.
I have 2 cats .. both were going to be destroyed when they were only 2 months old. The oldest one is now 13, and my youngest is 5. I moved 1.000 miles north of my state to be closer to family and they came with me and are still with me. I do without things sometimes just to take care of them and make sure they have plenty of food, treats, litter, shots up to date etc. I even buy them presents on their birthdays and for Christmas. What is amazing is they were both born on April 10th and that is my birthday too!
Really amazing and perfect done.

...great song.
