I was warned not to go to the old castle because it was said to be haunted by the once beautiful princess Adonia, but I did not believe in ghosts or such things. After much anticipation and thought I put on my cloak, grabbed my sword and headed toward the castle ruins. The closer I came to the old castle of where I was told to not go to, I felt a cold chill in my bones and fog began to set in. I heard a raven above me and watched as he flew north, then circled back around and headed north again. I knew he was telling me to come with him. Twenty minutes passed and suddenly there it was. The ruins of the old castle that once was the most beautiful castle in the land. As I approached the castle wall, I suddenly heard a female voice say "Get out"! Turning around I saw nothing but fog and then blue formations began swirling up to the sky and I saw her face. She was the protector of the castle. Winds began to blow and the spirits began to chant as I struggled to leave. She again spoke saying "Leave now"! I did not run but slowly backed away from the castle ruins. As I backed away the spirits seemed to flow into the walls and "she" disappeared into the clouds. Many times I wanted to return, but never went back.
