A beautiful fluid feel to this. More like platinum than silver! (Better class) :D

Do you happen to know how Bryce differs from Blender, or are they basically the same sort of thing? And where does DAZ 3D fit in?

I'm intrigued about what these 3D programs actually do. I know Blender pretty well (can't use it yet), but the other two that I mentioned are pretty much unknown to me. BTW I run Ubuntu.

Blender is a 3D modeling program where you can make your own models. It is nothing as good as C4D (Cinema 4D) . . but it works. I have the C4D but it is too complicated, but I will learn it sooner or later. I need to.

Bryce has it's own objects, materials, skies, etc and you can even make Boolean objects in Bryce. DAZ I have but never used it much. You can make Poser models etc with Daz and import them to Bryce and get the reflections as you get with any 3D object made with Blender or C4D etc. I have used it a couple of times, but it also confuses me. LOL

Ubuntu is Linux - I am a Windows user. Have been forever it seems.

Since you know Blender so well, I am sure you will do wonders with DAZ and Bryce. I say go for it and have some fun. I basically just teach myself and go on with it.
