I would like to see the Major Networks list the casualty names as their lead story at least one day a week. Just as a reminder to the rest of us.

Sorry for typos but I was upset writing my comment.

I hate so much that anyone has to die for war. The fact we still have wars reminds me hwo horrible people can be to each other. As far as I am concerned it is criminal that they are over there. I totally understand your feelings but I want the killing stopped. These young men/women who died are not heroes for their deaths and to make them heroes or to say they died for us does not do them justice and cheapens their death. Their lives were wasted and I cry when I hear and see pictures of these young people who died in this politician's war. It reminds me of the huge waste. These young American's desrve so much more. If you do not call them heroes then their deaths are ever more meaningless and maybe people would be outraged and work to bring them home.

I want them all home so they can live the lives they so deeply deserve. This is not the American peoples war it is the war of the machine and by believing they died for us, you buy into the rhetoric the government wants you to believe. In my opinion it cheapens their death. Those who have died in this current war are angels and victims who deserve so much more then us thanking them for dying for us. Get angry get real angry! Vote the right people into office to bring these precious people home. Change your life style so we are not dependend on oil. Not one drop of blood for oil! We got Saddam, We got Bin Laden there were no weapons of mass destruction why the hell are we still there! So honor these precious young people who died by stopping this war and never let it happen again. They did not die for me they died in a criminal war. Bring them home now! I will cry and pray for them and their families but I will not buy into this war and how the media wants us to preceive it.

Amy Winehouse is another victim of our disconneced way of life. People are lost and Amy was another lost soul and the tone of this jouranl seems to say don't feel sympathy for Amy her death is not as important as soldier. I got news for you, life is pressious and the news of any death is a sad thing. Amy brought joy into my life and to millions but so many enjoyed her fall as if it was a circus or a reality show. It was not, it was sad and her death is as sad as those soldiers who died. I support one charity and that is St. Judes Childeran's hospital those little kids are heroes! I am sure some will not understand this response and I will be vilified but I simply feel all unnecessary death is profoundly sad event. Amy, a soldier, a sick child. As a society we could have stopped these deaths. So don't call soldier's heroes bring them HOME!
